Dr. Brandi Addison specializes in providing patients with comprehensive endocrinology care with a special focus in cardiometabolic disease and obesity management. By encouraging open communication and collaboration, Dr. Addison works closely with her patients to create a treatment plan uniquely tailored to their needs and lifestyles. She values education and enjoying teaching patients the underlying pathophysiology of their disease state so they have a clear understanding of their treatment plan.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology by the American Osteopathic Association, Dr. Addison received her medical degree from the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona and completed an internal medicine residency at Corpus Christi Medical Center in Texas. Dr. Addison is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is the founder and CEO of South Texas Endocrinology & Metabolism Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Dr Addison is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and has played an active role in the DE&I committee as well as contributed to the online educational module on obesity management for primary care providers. Her areas of research and scholarly interest lie in diabetes, particularly cardiometabolic disease and obesity management. In her spare times, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Keith and two sons, Isaiah and Micah.
