Dr. Md. Zubbair Malik is a Scientist at the Department of Genetics and Bioinformatics, Dasman Diabetes Institute, Kuwait. He received his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India, and is a Fellow of the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Dr. Malik’s research focuses on diabetes and cancer, with expertise in the analysis of complex biological networks, computational and systems biology, mathematical biology, and multi-omics data integration, including RNA sequencing, microarray, single-cell sequencing, metagenomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.
He is the inventor of a patented method for evaluating the anti-hypertensive activity of hibisctrin targeting the angiotensin-converting enzyme. To date, Dr. Malik has authored over 50 research articles in reputed international journals, 4 book chapters, 7 conference papers, and more than 20 abstracts presented at various scientific forums worldwide.
