Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon

Dr Andrew Harrison is a professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he also serves as the Director of the Oculofacial Plastic and Orbital Surgery Service. Dr Harrison he is the VIce-Chair of Surgical Services and Quality. He is the co-director of the Center for Thyroid Eye Disease, a multidisciplinary clinic for patients with thyroid eye disease, for the last 10 years. He received his medical degree at the University of Missouri and completed an ophthalmology residency and neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr Harrison went on to complete a fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University. He is a member and fellowship preceptor for ASOPRS. In addition to having published more than 100 papers in many peer reviewed Journals as well as book chapters, he serves on editorial boards and as a reviewer for several publications and journals. Additionally, Dr Harrison is a volunteer surgeon for Orbis International.
