Dr. Aman Rajpal currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Endocrinology at Alameda Health System in Oakland, California. Dr. Rajpal initiated his medical career in India, followed by completing residency at Rutgers University and pursuing a fellowship in endocrinology at Case Western Reserve University. His has a particular research interest in pre-diabetes and associated metabolic dysfunction and have numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Rajpal has delivered presentations at various conferences and serves as a peer review editor for esteemed medical journals. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rajpal is dedicated to contributing to resident education. He currently serves on the AACE Dyslipidemia Algorithm Development Task Force and the OMA Adult Obesity Algorithm Workgroup. Dr. Rajpal is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and American Board of Clinical Lipidology (ABCL). These roles underscore his unwavering commitment to teaching, advancing patient care, and ongoing research in the areas of obesity, dyslipidemia and prevention of diabetes.
