Matthew J. Levine, MD, FACE is a clinical endocrinologist in the Division of Diabetes/Endocrinology at Scripps Clinic/Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, CA, and is the Endocrinology/Metabolism fellowship program director at this institution as well. In addition, he is a clinical professor of medicine at Scripps Clinic and also an assistant clinical professor of medicine at nearby UC San Diego School of Medicine. He sits on the AACE Board of Directors and on a variety of committees where he has served as chair or vice-chair. This includes his current role as the vice chair, and soon to be chair, of AACE's Fellows' Engagement Committee. He is the former president of what used to be the California chapter of AACE and served on that organization's Board of Directors for over six years. He also is the President-elect of APDEM (Association of Program Directors in Endocrinology and Metabolism) and has chaired APDEM's All-in-Match Task Force in past years.
