  • At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees will understand the indications and logistics of a bisphosphonate drug holiday
  • be confident about appropriate steps to prevent rapid bone loss and loss of vertebral fracture protection when/if denosumab therapy is discontinued
  • appreciate the justification for using osteoanabolic agents as initial treatment for osteoporosis
